Evening of Hope...Charity Check Presentation

Brandon foundation brings hope to charities with more than $150,000 in grant checks on November 12, 2011

Brandon Foundation presents checks to registered charities at its First Annual “Evening of Hope…A Charity Check Presentation” event at Botanical Gardens at the Florida State Fair

Brandon, Fla., October 28, 2010 – Presented by the Florida State Fair Authority, hosted by the Brandon Foundation, the 1ST Annual “Evening of Hope…A Charity Check Presentation” is on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., at Florida Center, Botanical Gardens, located at the Florida State Fairgrounds.

“We combined our annual Evening of Hope and Charity Check Presentation into one event,” said Foundation President Chris Trotti.  “We did this so that our charities, sponsors and guests will learn more about the Brandon Foundation and experience a wonderful evening when we give awards to volunteers, recognize our Angel Program families and present checks to our registered charities.”

According to the organizers, the doors will open at 6:00 p.m.   Checks will be presented to various registered charities who have asked for grants, totaling more than $150,000.   Dinner will be provided by Center Plate, Outback FishHawk and Carabbas.  Hosted by Cyndi Edwards of WFLA, the program will also highlight Brandon Foundation’s Angel Program, families who received help, a video presentation and entertainment.

“We hope this wonderful and uplifting night of celebration will be enlightening to everyone,” said Co-Chair Liz Brewer.  “We are delightful so many of our sponsors, registered charities, Angel families and guests will be joining the evening.   We encourage others to attend and celebrate with us.”

Tickets are $25.00 per person (dinner included).   Visit the Brandon Foundation website at www.BrandonFoundation.com or call the Brandon Foundation office at 813-689-6889 for details on how you can attend and be a part of this special event.
